When I started my business, I didn’t really bother for the logos. So I just went on running my business but then I was told that I should get a logo designed for my business as soon as possible because I won’t be able to promote my business properly. This was true actually, my business wasn’t doing that well. The problem which I faced while searching for the web logo design service was that there were thousands of them in the market and eve... Adrian Cockcroft posted Thanks for another great DevCamp

I learned a lot at the iPad DevCamp, and learned a lot more this time. Thanks for the concentrated focus on getting something done, and the inspiration of seeing what everyone else comes up with. Thanks also to PayPal for a great venue. It's nice to go back there (I worked for eBay on that campus 2004-5). See you next time.

Its hard to believe that you guys (Raven, Dom, Christopher and all the volunteers) voluntarily go to all the hard work that you do to set up these events. My hat is off to you. This was another very successful event from my point of view and from everyone else that I talked with as well. CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!!!! A few suggestions for future DevCamps. 1) Its very difficult to find people that you want to meet at the dev camp. I think we need a Dev... [read more]

Hi, I have some weird config problem. This morning, I was unable to run even a simple test application on my iPod Touch device. I've had this working in the past, and apps work correctly in the simulator. I verified my provisioning profile on the device has not expired. Here's what changed ... I was playing around with a friend's iPhone 3G a few days ago, and had to change some settings to support that. I think I undid the setting changes but I m... [read more]

Has anyone worked on a card game (among friends)...players can do small transactions using Paypal API..love to interact. I am here at the booth.

Bruce Chou: Make sure PayPal is kosher with this and doesn't officially ban gambling and take a hard line towards interpreting things that look pike gambling as such. Great idea though.
Ashish: thats correct, online gaming, money transaction may not be allowed in US and other countries but Virtual currency (Facebook) can be used between friends to do transaction. similar topic discussed here, Check this out .. https://www.x.com/message/177... [read more]

Adrian Cockcroft posted What was that movie called?

We are working on a movie search interface based on Freebase, OData and Netflix that will let you figure out answers to questions like "there was this spy movie I saw once, set in the UK, late 1990's, had nuclear weapons in it", and you don't know what it was called. It's going to be open sourced, as an upgrade to the Actors for Netflix on iPad app we did at iPadDevCamp, which is now on github and the app store.
